Young Scooter DEATH Called RARE CASE By DOCTOR & Cause Is UNDETERMINED By INVESTIGATORS.. (video)

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has classified the death of Atlanta rapper Young Scooter, whose real name was Kenneth Edward Bailey, as an “in custody death.” Originally from Walterboro, South Carolina, Bailey was 39 years old when he passed away, drawing widespread condolences from notable figures in the music industry, including rapper Meek Mill, who called him an “ATL generational leader.”

The circumstances surrounding Bailey’s death are still shrouded in uncertainty. Reports indicate that he was pursued by Atlanta police after a 911 call reported a dispute involving a weapon. On the night of his death, officers responded to the incident in the Lakewood neighborhood of Southeast Atlanta. Lieutenant Andrew Smith of the Atlanta Police Department stated that Bailey and another male fled from a residence and that Bailey sustained a leg injury after jumping over two fences.

Despite the chaos of the situation, the police have confirmed that no shots were fired by their officers during the pursuit. The only injury reported was to Bailey’s leg, and authorities suspect that he may have suffered a serious fracture, possibly a femur injury, which could potentially have led to life-threatening complications. Dr. Craig Wild, an orthopedic surgeon, explained that a severe fracture of the femur could damage the femoral artery, a potentially fatal injury, although such cases are relatively rare.

As of now, the Fulton County Medical Examiner has listed the cause and manner of Young Scooter’s death as undetermined, pending further investigation and autopsy results. The GBI is actively looking into the circumstances leading to this tragic event, with the autopsy expected to provide more clarity on the matter.

Bailey’s untimely death, occurring on his birthday, has left a significant impact on both his fans and the music community. Many have shared fond memories of his contributions to the Atlanta rap scene, highlighting his influence and the energy he brought to the genre. The outpouring of grief and tributes from fans and fellow artists underscores the legacy he leaves behind.

As investigations continue, there are many questions still to be answered regarding the events leading to Bailey’s death. Authorities are working alongside the GBI to ensure a thorough examination of the facts surrounding this incident, with the hope that clarity will emerge in the coming days.
